The United States men's national soccer team has reportedly assembled its 26-player squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. U.S. Soccer is not expected to confirm the roster until after Memorial Day. Reports indicate that midfielders Brenden Aaronson and Sebastian Berhalter, defender Mark McKenzie, and goalkeeper Matt Turner are among the players selected.

Sebastian Berhalter is the son of former USMNT head coach Gregg Berhalter. Aaronson appeared for the United States at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. Midfielder Gio Reyna, who has been a polarizing figure in the national team pool since the 2022 tournament, is also expected to be included according to sources.

Reyna has recorded 509 minutes this season with Borussia Mönchengladbach. Forward Diego Luna and midfielder Zavier Gozo, both from Real Salt Lake, were informed they would not be part of the final roster. Luna had scored four goals in 18 appearances for the national team prior to the selection process.

The United States will open its World Cup campaign on June 12 against Paraguay at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. The tournament marks the first time the USMNT will compete under head coach Mauricio Pochettino.
